The story behind Stormbird
It started with a kneeboard I couldn’t find.
I always wanted a leather kneeboard. Something practical for flying, with the look and feel of a piece of gear I’d be proud to use. I couldn’t find one to buy, so I started making them myself.
That’s the idea behind Stormbird: useful cockpit gear with a little more character.

A few useful details.
What comes with the kneeboard?
The leather kneeboard, your selected clipboard, and hook-and-loop fasteners for customizing the layout. A tablet and tablet case are not included.
Can I use a tablet and clipboard together?
Yes. The layout can be configured for a tablet, clipboard, or both. To stack a clipboard and tablet, use a folding tablet case with a full cover. Check your tablet and case dimensions before ordering; contact us if you need help with fit.
What’s the difference between the clipboards?
Choose a black or silver clipboard. The silver clipboard can also be written on directly with a wet-erase marker.
When will my order ship?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Estimated shipping time after dispatch is 3–7 business days within Canada, 5–10 to the United States, and 10–21 internationally. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
What if it isn’t right for me?
You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase. See the return policy for full conditions.
